Disregarding any similarities along with fictional spy agent 007, Bollywood actor-producer Saif Ali Khan states his personality in "Agent Vinod" is completely desi.
The much-awaited action-spy film, with Saif and the real life lady love Kareena Kapoor, is prepared for release. As well as comparisons using the "James Bond" series are unavoidable, says Saif.
"Any audience who involves see the film will believe that we have carried out an Indian 007. This is a really stupid move to make because firstly, 007 is really a completely English character," he informed reporters about the sidelines from the launch from the first poster from the movie.
"From the very first scene with the film, you'll realise this is an Indian hero who's very different towards the Bond personality because we didn't need to make a copy from the Bond film," added Saif.
Nevertheless, if "Agent Vinod" happens to be a box office success, Saif might think about making sequels into it, a la the "James Bond" series, which 22 films happen to be made to date. The 23rd is in the procedure for being created.
"If the film will well, this will depend on the audience. When the picture gets favorite then obviously we will anticipate making a series," said Saif.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the actual action-loaded movie is slated to produce March 23.
