After her sizzling performance in 'The Dirty Picture' Vidya Balan is all set to cross new benchmark.
She has been shooting for two months in Kolkata for Sujoy Ghosh’s next dramatic thriller 'Kahaani'.
Vidya will be playing the role of a six months pregnant woman who comes down from London in search of her husband.
Sujoy Ghosh admitted that he penned ‘Kahaani’ keeping only Vidya in mind.
A day before the release of Vidya Balan’s 'The Dirty Picture', the posters of her next movie was released. The poster shows Balan as a pregnant woman but with the subtle image of goddess Durga.
As reported in NDTV, the film is scheduled to release on March 9, 2012 and is reported to be partially inspired by the Hollywood action thriller 'Kill Bill' starring Uma Thurman.
Sujoy Ghosh even tweeted after the shooting of the film got over, “KAHAANI was shot in all real locations. No budget to build set. In Kolkata it’s totally impossible to shoot real but we did it:)
