The production for the Star Trek Sequel is under way and the filming has officially started. The film is going to be directed by J.J Abrams.

The upcoming film “Star Trek Sequel” is being released by Paramount pictures. This sci-fi film is literally a spin off of the Star Trek series. It is starring John Cho, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, and Anton Yelchin.

Although there isn’t a lot about this film yet, as filming continues a release date and further details will be available. Be sure to check back about this film as the release date approaches

The film focues on the expected to all reprise of roles as members of the Enterprise crew with Abrams back in the director’s chair and a script again fro Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. This is said to be one of the better films for 2013 and the sequel will be connected with the original series as well.
