According to sources the paternity lawsuit against Justin Bieber has been dropped. The case was filed by Mariah Yeater, who claimed the seventeen year old singing sensation fathered her three month old baby, was dismissed last week.

Yeater’s lawyers reportedly withdrew from the case after Justin Bieber’s team threatened legal action. A rep for Justin Bieber told sources that they had said from the beginning, it is sad that someone would fabricate such a malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claim. We will continue to consider all of our options to protect Justin Bieber.

Earlier this month, the singer told Matt Lauer during an appearance on NBC, to set the record straight none of it is true, he had never met the woman. His rep previously told sources that they will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin Bieber against all of the allegations.

It is still uncertain if Selena Gomez and Justin are an item or not. In some photo shots they look as if they are however they are being somewhat discreet about their relationship if they are in fact dating each other.
